This book is a memory of hope. It holds the stories of four dogs whose lives were changed forever. Each story represents a dog's courageous and miraculous journey and the people they met along the way.
All but one started as purchase, either from a puppy mill in Lancaster, PA or a pet shop somewhere in the United States. All were given second, a third, or a fourth chance in life to be in a forever home.
The stories are based on true event and organized in two parts. The first part represents the dialogue that took place before meeting the dog, depicting the human side of story. The second part is an entry in the diary of the dog, representing what the dog might have said had they been able to articulate their feelings and amotions in the form of words.
